Today, Meta has started selling its new subscription service, Meta Verified, in beta to Facebook and Instagram users in Australia and New Zealand, after Mark Zuckerberg announced the service yesterday in a post.
The company said in a press release published on its website that users in countries where the service is available can now obtain it for

Meta Verified subscribers get several features that include the account verification tag, additional protection against impersonation of verified account holders, priority access to technical support service, highlighting verified accounts in search results and comments, and finally what the company said are “exclusive features that allow the user to express himself in a way Distinctive”, such as providing subscribers with exclusive sticker images that they can use in Facebook posts and Instagram stories.
The company confirmed that there will be no change to the previously documented accounts, during the trial period of the service, and added that it plans to provide other subscription offers that are beneficial to everyone, such as content makers, companies, and users in general.

Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, had announced that the company plans to cancel the old authentication tag to keep the authentication restricted to subscribers of the paid service, which Facebook did not say in its announcement, but it alluded to that possibility by saying that the old authentication service will remain unchanged “during the period.” Experimental".ش
